Nancy Beckham and Jane Issa met while operating hotels in Jamaica. They discovered they shared a philosophy of pure design combined with a no-fuss approach. Finding inspiration in the surroundings, they collaborated on two corporate hotel projects and sourced some of the best quality furniture available for contract use. From this, Beckham & Issa Fine Furnishings was formed with a mission to provide quality, versatile artisan-driven furnishings for home and hospitality environments.

In search of the finest and most durable hand-crafted furniture for their hotel projects, Nancy and Jane searched and tested most of the woven furniture available in the US. They were immediately impressed (and the client is still delighted 5 years later) with the handcrafted furniture from Lloyd Loom of Spalding, in the UK. The craftsmanship and integrity of each chair, lounge and table reflect the highest in quality workmanship and pure design, to be treasured for generations.
